Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to St Nicholas C of E Primary School.

St Nicholas is a happy, welcoming and ambitious two-form entry primary school in the heart of Kenilworth. We are incredibly proud of our school and, most importantly, of the children who make it such a special place.

Our vision, “Aim high, be courageous, show love,” is at the heart of everything we do. We want every child to achieve well, but we also want them to leave St Nicholas as confident, kind and curious young people who are ready for the next stage of their lives.

We have high expectations for all our children and believe that every child should have the opportunity to succeed. Alongside a strong academic education, we place great importance on children’s personal development and on giving them a wide range of experiences beyond the classroom. We want children to discover new interests, develop their talents, take on responsibility and experience things that they will remember long after they leave us.

Our Christian character shapes the way we live and learn together. Children are encouraged to be kind, safe, responsible and respectful, and we work hard to ensure that St Nicholas is a school where everyone feels that they belong.

We are fortunate to be part of a strong community. Our relationships with families, St Nicholas Church and the wider Kenilworth community are an important part of school life, and we know that children thrive when school and home work together.

Our staff know our children well, care about them and want the very best for them. We are always looking at how we can make our school even better, while holding on to the warmth, relationships and sense of community that make St Nicholas what it is.

A website can only tell you so much about a school. If you are considering St Nicholas for your child, we would be delighted to welcome you for a visit so that you can meet us, see the school in action and get a real feel for life at St Nicholas.
